He coached in Leoti, Ks. where he met Ruth Bodenhamer when she came back to visit friends after having spent the fall in Hawaii. He then coached at US Grant, Oklahoma City, after their marriage and when their oldest son was born he moved to Putnam City High School, he then coached in McCloud, Oklahoma; Valley Center, Ks. and Chandler, Oklahoma (his home town); Perkins, Oklahoma; Moore, Oklahoma and Midwest City Public Schools.

Separated Nov. 1986; Divorced April 1990 in Sedgwick County, Ks.

Steven Pitched at the Championship game for ABBA Baseball Regionals in Springfield, Mo. They won a trip to Puerto Rico all expenses paid for the National Baseball Championship. Selected for "Who's Who" in American Baseball in 1990, Selected for National Leadership Conference, Washington D.C. 1990.

Attended Valley Center High School - Valley Center, Ks. and Chandler High School - Chandler, Oklahoma. He graduated from Perkins High School - Perkins, Oklahoma 1991. Honorable mention in Baseball - Oklahoma 1991. Attended Wichita State University.


More about Robert:
Robert pitched the championship game in the 1988 State Baseball Playoff game. They won the game which gave them the State Championship in HAP Dumont Baseball State Tournament. He played Soccor and was Left wing. He played on league teams and on hand picked traveling teams in Soccer and Baseball.

He graduated from Valley Center High School. Worked in construction for a while and then went on to work for MCI World Com. He chose not to attend college right away.
